Job Description

  • Convert user stories into technical solutions.
  • Develop and Create, configure and troubleshoot Forms, Workflows, Interfaces, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, ACLs, Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc.
  • Building and configure, per requirements; requests, request items and tasks using workflows to manage data flows from the customer to the support teams providing the service
  • Perform day-to-day support and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform and associated applications
  • Provides detailed guidance and consultation in solutioning production incidents when required.
  • Collaborates with vendors on infrastructure designs to ensure the final product is what was architected or designed.
  • Champion effort to maintain ServiceNow industry best practices and maintain system compliance.
  • Follow internal change management process to deploy update sets.
  • Understanding of the Customer requirements then apply industry best practices and detailed knowledge of ServiceNow to design an optimal solution that supports the business process that meets or exceeds Customer requirements
  • Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include modifications of applications, forms, workflow, and interfaces supporting ITIL processes
  • Develop standards, processes and support documentation for ServiceNow platform modules
  • Working experience with customization widget and client script supported in portal.
  • Manage day to day support and maintenance of the ServiceNow environment
  • Assist with analysing and converting business requirements to systems requirements
  • Work with stakeholders to design testing strategies for Development, QA and User Acceptance Testing
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow new release upgrade process for implementation
  • Collaborate ServiceNow Support Team concerning strategies and technical aspects of platform upgrades

Skills:

  • Direct experience in one or more of the following technical specialties: application development, application integration, Web Services, Scripting, and/or database programming.
  • Experience automating tasks associated with technical specialties.
  • Experience successfully leading ITSM projects and initiatives.
  • Service now Developer certification
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Must be able to work independently and be self-sufficient in defining and realizing infrastructure designs
