Job Description

Able to work remotely from any location during COVID.  Post-COVID may do some work from the 201 E. Colfax location as needed.

The customer is contracting for Department") is seeking an on-site, qualified Extract-Translate-Load (ETL) programmer/developer well versed in Informatica for Information Management System's development teams. This is a staff augmentation to develop, maintain, and enhance ETL processes to load data from the Operational Data Store (ODS) and external data sources to the Data Warehouse.   Develop, maintain, and enhance Informatica ETL processes for Data Marts and file creation for federal reporting

 This engagement includes administering Informatica Administration functions, including software installation, tuning, defining best practices and trouble shooting and resolution.  This position also may require contact with tool vendor or third-party vendors.

 

In addition, this work may involve additional work associated with the staging of data for Tableau and Cognos reporting purposes.

This initiative is critical for IMS support of CDE Informatica, Tableau and Cognos reporting. We need a data warehousing expert that, can quickly ramp up on the CDE environment, understands the work needed, can do the work, and can communicate to others how to do the work.

We need explanations and documentation throughout This includes any supporting tools, hardware and software configurations using best practices in all areas.

The contractor will be performing backfill services for the SLDS grant which is an allowable use of grant funds.  This is necessary so CDE permanent staff are available to work on grant activities, to reduce the need for contractor-to-staff knowledge transfer in the future.
