Job Title: Technical Architect( Cloud)
location: Irvine, TX (Onsite after covid till remote )
Primary skill required (must have): AWS, S3, Snowflake, Informatica, DWBI experience
Job Description :
- Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree
- 12+ years of experience with Information Technology, AWS, S3, Snowflake and reporting technologies
- An understanding of the concepts related to Data warehousing, Data modelling and expertise in SQL skills. Good experience in end-to-end implementation of DW BI projects, especially in data warehouse and mart developments
- Define structure, integrate, govern, store, describe, model, and maintain data in the enterprise for accuracy and usage maintaining current state
- Map to information entities that can define how information should flow and be consumed by various Stake Holders.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Informatica, S3, Snowflake and reporting technologies along with SQL Unix scripting.
- Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
- Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12+ Year’s of experience in leading and driving large DWBI projects.
- Must have 5+ years of hands on Informatica, AWS S3, Snowflake and reporting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience working on AWS/Snowflake projects including executing at least 2 large AWS/Snowflake projects working as technology/solution expert.
- Evaluates existing applications that could address client requirements and makes recommendations from complex projects.
- Lead and guide an Informatica based ETL architecture to handle complex business rules while balancing the fulfillment of stringent performance requirements
- Works with business partners, product development teams and senior designers to capture requirements, determine a solution that will integrate with existing BI assets, review prototypes and develop iterative revisions.
- Conduct impact assessment with business in order and determine high level design and size of effort based on requirements.
- Work to drive improvements and enhancements to the current data landscape and future strategy.
- Support ETL/AWS/Snowflake developers by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting and alternative development solutions.
- Playing a key role in mentoring other staff members and a proven track record in knowledge transfer to other team members and departments.
- Deep involvement & Understanding of the Software development lifecycle. Trained and understands Agile Methodology and other project management frameworks.
- Experience managing team size of 20 would be a plus
