Job Description:

              ·         Performs data warehouse modeling, mapping and coding

·         Inmon with Kimball experience methodology

·         3 – 5 years’ experience in data warehousing or ETL experience

·         Ability to perform independent data analysis on a database to define the data requirements and development

·         Ability to work with business stakeholders: Excellent comm skills needed

·         Top 5 technical skills (in order of importance): Data Factories (Azure), SSIS, Inmon methodology, SQL, Oracle, JSON

·         A person who can be placed in a project and work independently to directly interacting with a pharma operation team to gather requirements and support the data                         needsof  the project.

·         Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.

·         Evaluating existing data systems.

·         Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.

·         Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.

·         Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.

·         Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.

·         Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.

·         Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.

·         Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions.

·         Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models.

·         Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.

·         Optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects.

·         Maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models along with corresponding metadata.

·         Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models.
