Title :QA Lead 

Location:Ohio City ,OH

Contract

This program/initiative spans across multiple verticals and I would like the Leads to have strong analytical skills, be very competent in establishing and evolving the QA Processes, be thinking outside the box and enable the teams to fail faster by bringing in testing early into the development cycles and oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, developing new tools to ensure quality deliverables/goals are met.

The QA Lead, should act as a key point of contacts for all QA aspects of releases, building E2E Test Strategies and coordinating E2E testing efforts across dependent teams internally and externally (3rd party ) and have Strong communication , leadership and collaboration skills , to challenge the norm.

Skill/Experience Requirements

8+ years of QA experience

5+ years of recent relevant QA lead experience

2+ years of relevant experience in test automation (Graphical User

2+ Interface/ Service Oriented Architecture/ ETL) utilizing tools (

2+ Selenium , Appium , Mocha, Test NG , CA Dev Test , Rest Assured , IDQ,DVO etc.

1+ years of relevant experience in Object Oriented Programming ( Java )

Experience working with CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab etc.) Experience driving QA processes and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environment Proficient in defect tracking and analyzing root cause utilizing tools ( Jira , Rally etc.) Strong understanding of automation and performance concepts and approaches .

Understand and utilize risk based testing technique Provide leadership to quality engineers , i.e. mentoring , onboarding , training etc.

Strong experience in test environment and test data management Develop, implement and maintain quality and test procedures, processes and best practices with Quality Assurance and ensure testing standards are met.

Ensure adequate test coverage across all the integrate systems based on functional and non-function requirements.

Provide guidance and Asist with test execution, document and analyze test results and present findings to development teams.

Identify opportunities where testing can “shift to the left” into unit and contract testing coverage for Faster Feedback Cycle.

Triage defects and ensure Jira/defect creation standards are followed and metrics are reported on a regular cadence Communicate timely status, including any potential risks/issues to the appropriate teams to ensure completion of all deliverables Identify opportunities where test automation can be leveraged and monitor automated script creation, execution, maintenance, and adherence to, frameworks, standards and best practices.
