Description:

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.

Design and development of data pipelines, ETL/ETL tools or custom scripts/pipelines related to analytics and business intelligence.

Technology skills:

Pipeline tools:           

·        Scala - required

·        Python and/or JavaScript custom development - required

·        AWS data pipeline tools - desired

·        ETL/ETL tools – familiarity/previous experience desired

Data stores and Operating Systems:

·        Expert level knowledge of SQL and SQL Style Guide– required

·        Experience with relational and/or columnar databases, Big Data stores – required

·        Understanding of data store design (data lakes; relational, columnar, NoSQL databases; analytic cubes) – desired

Other - desired

·        Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies

·        Understanding of data science principles

·        Agile development process experience
