Job Description:
Technical Skills – Mandatory
- Technically able to understand customer requirement and designsolutions to meet the demand.
- Architect optimized solution for Azure Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) and VDI
- WVD Implementation and able to make necessary document and present to customer.
- Supporting wide range of technologies like Citrix (XenApp/XenDesktop/PVS/MCS/App Layering/NetScaler/WEM/XenServer), Windows Administration, Azure IAAS and Azure WVD,Azure AD, VMware ESXi and Horizon View, Ivanti Workspace along with PowerShell Scripting.
- Expertise in implementingWVD and VDI solution in Cloud (Azure & AWS) , Integrating On-Prem with Cloud with various scenarios, Migrating users from on-prem to cloud.
- Creation of Master Image to deploy WVD host pools using non-arm and arm based method.
- Azure VM scaling based on the customer requirement.
- Implementation knowledge of Windows Virtual Desktop
- Experience in Server Virtualization technologies like Microsoft (Microsoft Hyper-V), VMWare hypervisor and Citrix Xenserver
- Strong in-depth experience on Desktop Virtualization using MS WVD and Citrix Xendesktop.
- Take initiative to create enhancements in solution stack and contribute to implement the same.
- Good in documentations and maintain artifacts, making presentation for customer needs.
- Provide support to BAU team where needed during implementation and steady state support.
- Participate in various engineering activities and contribute in same.
Technical Skills desired:
- Able to manage implementation activities onsite.
- Experience in Automation and orchestration using PowerShell.
- Knowledge on application delivery methods and packaging using App-V, App Layering etc..
- Have Good understanding on user persona management, Disaster Recovery and Microsoft domain infrastructure in VDI world
- Very good knowledge on Identity management and all security aspects in VDI world.
- Knowledge &Hands on experience on VDI monitoring and management tools likeAzure Monitor,Systrac,EG Innovation, Goliath etc..
- Working knowledge of high availability and business continuity from a technology and business process perspective, experience defining RPO/RTO expectations Data replication technologies.
- Understanding of security procedures and practices
Other Requirements:
- Engineering degree is Desirable
- Able to multi-task and work productively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Presentation and Documentation skill.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Travel ready for short and medium term trips to implement the solution at different customer places & should be willing to relocate to an onsite location longer term of the Project demands so.
- A team player with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and comply with business processes and procedures
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills·
- Has passed or is close to passing at least one of the Azure technical certification exams exams (AZ103, AZ300 & AZ301 or AZ400)
