Job title – ServiceNow SAM Tool Implementation consultant

Location-   White Plains, NY

Duration –  Contract

Job Responsibilities:

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Having experience on Flexera Asset manager implementation and upgrade management skills.

2. Create and configure the SAM Asset Manager database.

3. Integrating the SAM Asset Manager tool with third party data sources like SCCM, Active Directory, Service Now, CMDB, etc.

4. SAM Tool Inventory agent implementation & configuration in windows, Linux servers and workstations. Agent connectivity issues, troubleshooting and analyzing the logs for trouble shooting.

5. Experience in Installation of Configuration FNMS Suite.

6. Experience in Configuring Beacons and Setting up Business adapters depending on client requirement.

7. Experience in Installation & configuration of FNMEA,APP Broker and SAAS Manager.

8. Performing Daily/Weekly/Monthly health checks of database, application servers.

9. Perform Bug fixes & Patching activities whenever there is an update for SAM Tool.

10. Having fair understanding on Software Asset Management, operational activities like Import, mapping the Software procurement license information in SAM Tool.

11. Research, evaluate, recommend, and implement methods, policies, processes, best practices, techniques, technologies, and tools for software license management.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 8-15 Years of experience in SAM tool deployment (predominantly – Flexera Asset Manager Tool)

2. Technical Background

3. ITIL V4 foundation certified (Good to Have)

4. SAM Implementation certification preferred (e.g. CA ,Snow or Flexera )Certified/IAITAM/IBSMA/SIIA/BSA Certified Software Asset Manager)
