Role: Data Analyst

Location: Atlanta,GA (100% REMOTE)

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand the businessprocess and turn vague one-liner requests into 
  detailed, testable requirements that meet the business needs
• Propose and implement analytics solutions to support business needs anddata-driven decisions
• Support new system implementation projects, including data feeds, datadesign, and mapping
• Identify and document data sources, criteria, and data mapping
• Develop subject matter expertise and understand dependencies between sourcesystems
• Use SQL to explore, extract, and analyze data, including historical data
• Assess data quality and completeness and implement solutions to ensureaccurate reporting
• Propose solutions to collect new data points to support metrics and identifytrends
• Design reports/dashboard layouts to present data in a clean, consumable, andinsightful format
• Write report and data feed specifications for BI, ETL, and WebservicesDevelopers
• Receive and prioritize requests for reports
• Assist customers with ad-hoc reporting needs
• Audit existing reports and propose improvements for findability of data
• Serve as a resource to Business Analysts and Developers for data-relatedneeds
• Support development of other team members' data analysis skills thoughknowledge share Education and Experience (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Finance, orrelated field
• 3-4 years performing data analysis
• 3-4 years as a business analyst (working with stakeholders on requirementsand business process)
• 2-3 years of experience writing complex SQL queries Qualifications (required)
• Above average analytical and conceptual thinking; resourceful problem-solving
• Fascination with data, desire to learn new concepts, finds business processand data analysis rewarding
• Expert level SQL skills; experience writing complex queries with multipletable joins, subqueries, and 
  historical data
• Basic knowledge of database design principles, deep understanding ofrelational databases
• Familiarity with data warehouse, data mart, ETL, and webservices concepts
• Exposure to reporting tools and some hands-on experience building reports
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, charts, pivot tables)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience communicating with all levels in the organization in a clear and concise manner using non- 
  technical language
• Excellent documentation skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong experience working with HR data and processes
• Process analysis skills
• Ability to lead others to articulate requirements and uncover hidden needs
• Familiarity with SDLC
• Experience managing multiple requests and projects
• Adaptability to changing requests and priorities Additional Qualifications(preferred)
• Experience with PeopleSoft HCM data
• Eye for aesthetics and usability in report design
• Data visualization experience, such as dashboards
• Familiarity with statistical methods
• Predictive analytics/forecasting experience
• 1-2 years of BI experience working with Cognos, Tableau, or similar BI suites
• Strong presentation skills
