Position Description
CGI has an immediate need for a Sr. Talend Developer (Data Architect) to join our financial services team in Herndon, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.

We are starting a high visibility strategic initiative named Liquidity Management. This requires a new build with Talend & AWS. This is a long term initiative. Experienced resources should have good reporting background.

Your future duties and responsibilities
One of the main requirements is an excellent understanding of data architecrure concepts from ETL and reporting stand point. This initiative is all about reporting and data. Having a solid development experience in Talend and Reporting initiatives is a must for this role.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 8+ years of IT Experience
• Hands on technical experience in Talend
• Hands on experience working on reporting initiatives using Microstrategy/Tableau
• Expert knowledge of Data architecture concepts

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
AWS certification desired
