Position Description:
CGI is seeking to hire a Performance Test Lead to join our financial services team in Herndon, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.
This position is a part of the strategic initiatives projects in Capital Markets area working on the latest tech stack. In this role, you will be responsible for test automation for various software applications.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Seeking a Performance Test Lead with 10+ years of experience. In this role you will focus on test planning, estimations, prioritization and documentation. Expertise in software QA methodologies, tools and processes and performance testing tools. Responsible for Performance testing application built as part of Strategic Initiative programs which are complex in nature.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 10+ yrs of IT Industry experience
• 6+ years of Performance testing (Load/Latency/High Availability)
• 6+ years of experience with Load Runner/JMeter or other open source performance test tool.
• Experience working in Agile/waterfall model
• Performance monitoring, tuning and analysis experience
• Understands a broad spectrum of technology in order to provide part or all of a detailed technical design to meet customer requirements.
• Excellent decision-making skills, should be able to lead the performance engineering vision for the program
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
Post-graduate degree desired
