Job Description: Performance Tester
- Gather and interpret performance test requirements. Create performance test plans. Design, develop, execute and analyze performance test for applications and systems. Perform application performance testing and analysis, including load, stress, duration, and tuning.
- Identify and assist project teams with application and system tuning needs. Provide expertise to signoff via a pass/fail notification for production changes.
- Participate in hardware sizing. Debug code defects related to application performance issues.
- Develop plugins and additional capabilities to support existing SDLC Toolchain. Drive mainframe performance testing.
Special Skills: This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following skills and technologies:
- Performance tuning, at least one of the following load generation tools(MICRO FOCUS Load Runner, Apache Jmeter, Blazemeter,)
- At least ONE of the following monitoring/logging tools (CA Wily, Dynatrace, Splunk, CA Mainview);
At least TWO of the following programming languages (Java, C, Groovy, Python, COBOL); DB2; IMS; CICS; MQ; TSO ISPF; SDSF; SMF
