Junior Information Security Analyst
Rate: $30/hour C2C MAX
Duration: 6-months

Location: Candidates residing within the Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS markets are preferred since there may be an opportunity to convert to FTE in the future and we don’t know what the future policy for remote workers will look like for 2021 and beyond.
Target hire date: 1/04/21

JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Program Office, a centralized function at client, the Third-Party Risk Analyst will evaluate and conduct Risk Reviews and Assessments of third parties engaged by client across a broad range of risk domains, including cyber security, data privacy, operational, financial, business continuity, and various operational risks, among others. 
This person will be responsible for analyzing assessment results, follow-up, and reporting, and will provide input on observed risks and tolerances on entities evaluated. The Third-Party Risk Analyst will engage directly with third parties to complete client prescribed risk assessments and will work directly with client Subject Matter Experts (SME) to evaluate and apply risk assessment criteria (aligned with client Policy) using internal and external business intelligence to identify and track applicable risk findings. 
The Third-Party Risk Analyst will support regulatory compliance tasks and Legal & Compliance teams. The Third-Party Risk Analyst will also interface with Management, Information Security teams, Privacy, Legal & Compliance, Procurement, and internal Business Owners to maintain a service model that informs on key risks, limits unnecessary impediments, and improves efficiencies.

Responsibilities:
• Execute assigned tasks and responsibilities while ensuring timely completion and a professional work product;
• Demonstrate credibility with business partners and leadership, appropriately influence business decisions and exercise strong business judgment when recommending initiatives, identifying gaps, and potential issues;
• Demonstrate an ability to work independently while representing the services of the department with the highest level of professionalism;
• Identify opportunities to create additional value for internal customers and partners through continuous improvement;
• Conduct third-party risk assessments, either directly or through engagement with third parties, applying established criteria and technology and reporting tools;
• Collaborate with internal partners and third-parties to mitigate and otherwise resolve third-party risks.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct third party risk assessments, applying established criteria covering cyber security, data privacy, reputational, financial, business continuity, geopolitical, and other risk domains. 50%
Support NSA compliance and Cyber network assessment reviews. 25%
Collaborate with internal partners and third parties to mitigate and otherwise resolve third party risks. 10%
Conduct periodic TPRM training and awareness with Procurement, Legal, the Business Unit, and other stakeholders 10%
Ad Hoc Processes / Projects 5%

-Process Improvement: Knowledge of UiPath, Alteryx or similar software that can be used to automate manual processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· 1-3 years of role relevant experience.
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field of study or two additional years of work experience.
Resource will be dedicated to non-Cyber assessments but still have an interest in learning Cyber.
Position supports the Third-Party Risk Management Team that rolls up under Risk Management rolls up under Finance. Will be assisting the completion of risk assessments for new and existing 3rd party relationships.
