Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or other related field in addition to relevant work experience required for the job
Minimum 5+ years’ hands on experience using IBM Data Stage and Oracle RDBMS
Minimum 3 years’ strong Experience in writing UNIX shell scripts to automate file preparation and database loads
Minimum 3 years’ experience performance tuning of ETL jobs, SQL queries and Shell scripts.
Experience in data quality testing; adept at writing test cases and scripts, presenting and resolving data issues
Strong programming/development skills using PL/SQL, T-SQL (package, procedures, functions, triggers) and batch coding skills such as Bulk collections, dynamic SQL and parallel processing
Exposure to Big data platform and knowledge on YARN, Sqoop, Spark SQL, Hive, other ETL tools (Informatica, Talend etc), Impala, etc.
Experience analyzing and designing deliverables in an Agile environment is required.
Demonstrated independent problem solving skills and ability to develop solutions to complex analytical/data-driven problems
Possess exceptional technical skills in database architecture, database design and ETL
Must be a self-starter, motivated individual who works well under pressure
Flexible and resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to a high change environment
Experience analyzing and designing deliverables in an Agile environment is required
