Job Description: MEDIA SUPPLY CHAIN – SUPPORT SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Customer is looking for someone to provide technical support to run Media Applications.

Specific Job duties include:

- Configuring & Monitoring media processing systems/applications

- Develop and support Web and API based solutions

- Work with development, project and operations teams and vendors to gather data for the potential issues

- Work with Software Engineering in support of development work

- Work with TECHOPS and Release Management in support of app deployments for the bug fixes/enhancements

- Scripting and development work for cloud-native solutions

- Debug reported issues thoroughly and resolve them

Qualifications

- Full-stack web application developer with experience in Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Node.JS

- Writes clean, modular code and is experienced with OOP and design patterns

- Strong knowledge of Linux, MAC OSX, and Windows

- Strong knowledge of media and broadcast

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline

- Familiarity with front-end libraries such as Vue, React and Angular

- Good knowledge of Java, Groovy scripting, SQL RDB, NO-SQL, XSLT, XML

- Basic knowledge of IPV4 and IPV6 and IP sub-netting

- Basic understanding of virtual machine clusters and hardware
