Senior Developer/SFDC Developer: This role is expected to pretty hands-on with Salesforce development/coding including Apex Triggers, Classes, Lightning components, JavaScript and HTML. Should be familiar with Software Configuration Management (SCM) tool such as GitLab, adhere to Western Union Software Methodology and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Able to troubleshoot and quickly resolve issues. Timely update of project status in Jira with appropriate comments and status etc., is critical for effective communication of status. Able to coordinate and demonstrate the individual contribution role effectively in a SCRUM/Agile project setup.
- Expert-level experience in Lightning, Apex and Visualforce development
- Experience building Web-based UIs with a deep understanding of HTML, JavaScript (including libraries such as jQuery and Prototype) and CSS
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design patterns and prior work with OO languages
- Effective decision-making and critical thinking skills for problem identification and solution recommendations
- Ability to be flexible, set priorities and meet deadlines in a changing environment for self and team
- Strong time management skills

- Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design, administrative activities to development, automated testing, and deployment, including data quality and design
- Design and implement critical solutions on the Force.com platform utilizing Visualforce, Apex, D/HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOJO, AJAX, and other technologies
- Actively engage in an Agile (Scrum) environment with a focus on iterative and test-driven methodologies
- Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality/time-to-market imperatives
- Assists with user story grooming to better define technical configuration changes and translate business intent
