Role Description:

SMTP,PTF,RACF,Administraion,z/OS,LPAR,mgration,CICS,DB2,VSAM,DASD Storage

Manages and operates Mainframe Equipment’s, Software, communications and/or Application solutions and the resources required to plan for, develop, deliver and support properly engineered Services and products to meet Customer's needs.

Plans and implements technical changes for new or changed Services.  Manages the Change Management process.  Adheres to the regulatory, legal and Customer/Service Provider-approved technical standards.  Manages performance of Mainframe Systems and Services in the applicable technical domain.  Provides reporting on Service Levels, risk and contingency planning.  Supports the operation and maintenance of other Customer IT Environment Provider products, services, and solutions, as applicable, including web filtering and spam filtering.  Has responsibility for sizing, troubleshooting and participating in the resolution of Incidents and Problems in the Customer IT Environment. Implements security patches in accordance with Customer's requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of managing Mission Critical Mainframe environments hosted in z13, z114, DS8884 and Tape Libraries

• Experience in z/OS & z/VM administration

• Experience in CICS, MQ administration in z/OS platform

• Installing & Configuration of z/OS systems

• Installation, configuration and administration of day to day support of CICS transaction Server

• Provide on-call 24/7 Incident Response to z/OS issues from production monitoring tools, Command Center personnel and Application Development Analysts

• Coordination with application and infrastructure teams on software dependencies and timing of implementations

• Open cases with vendors as necessary and work with them as required to resolve issues

• Experience in LPAR management

• Manage mainframe storage & tape subsystems

• Participate in Disaster Recovery Exercise

• Monitor, Troubleshoot & diagnose the TWS application issues.

• Developing scripts to administer the TWS application/eliminate efforts.

• Experience in Batch Technologies. Tool: TWS - Tivoli Workload Scheduler

• Demonstrated proficiency in print System management, System management Infrastructure, Systems management and virtualization

• Working knowledge of middleware administration

• As applicable, formal technical training administering CICS middleware

• At least three years of experience in an enterprise environment, unless otherwise approved by Customer
