Title: Systems Administrator Senior
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Pay rate: Max $40/hour on W2
Visa Status GC USC EAD
· -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar degree required.
Description:
Analyze system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems. Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing data center environments. Perform routine audits of systems and software. Perform backups. Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes. Install and configure new hardware and software. Add, remove, or update user account information, resetting passwords, etc. Answer technical queries and assisting users. Responsibility for security. Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system. Troubleshoot any reported problems. System performance tuning. Ensure that the network infrastructure is up and running.
Requirements:
· -5+ years of experience in Red Hat Linux administration and Windows Server Administration required.
· -Ability to implement and integrate new system architecture into an existing environment
· -Ability to show experience working in a large production environment
· -Ability to deploy highly available technologies such as replication, load balancing, geographic clustering
· -Ability to install and configure server hardware including operating system and additional software to configure for optimal use
· -Ability to identify standard monitoring requirements and scripting or applying additional setting requirements
· -Ability to troubleshoot hardware and system level problems
· -Ability to interpret architecture and design configurations from vendors or other teams to enable clear implementation standards and guidelines
· -Ability to document implementation and installation guidelines/guidance.
