Position: DevOps Consultant
Location: Denver, CO (Day 1st onsite)
Duration: long term

Should be Good in CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher2, GitLab, Shell scripting, AWS, etc

Job Description:

Individual  contribution in  Devops projects that vary in size and scope depending on requirements for teams enabling Continuous Integration and automation of service Integration, delivery, and deployments

Experience in developing CICD pipelines using Jenkins

Experienced in using Docker components like Docker Engine, Hub, Swarm, Docker Registry, handling Docker images primarily for middleware installations and domain configurations.

 Experience with a version control system (GIT/SVN) 

Hands-on experience in AWS services and AWS DevOps tools (EC2, S3, RDS, Fargate etc.)

Building and maintaining tools, solutions and microservices associated with deployment and our operations platform, ensuring that all meet our customer service standards and reduce errors.

Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch.

Test system integrity, implemented designs, application developments and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as needed.

Deploy product updates as required while implementing integrations when they arise.

Automate operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with security requirements.

Specifying, documenting and developing new product features, and writing automating scripts so that others may understand.

Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes.

Work with open-source technologies as needed.

Stay current with industry trends and source new ways for business to improve.

Proficient in scripting languages like bash/shell and Python and in configuration Management tools such as Ansible or any of Terraform Puppet, Chef, Salt etc

Education & Experience Requirements:

BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study (IT experience can substitute for a BS degree)

Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes.

Experience working with AWS.

Experience with Docker / Linux Container technologies (Mesos, Rancher, Docker Cloud, AWS ECS)

Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins

Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments

Experience with Shell Scripting.
