Location- West Chester, PA (Must have local consultant)

Duration-Prefer people who can convert after 12months.    

This experienced full-stack .NET developer will be a key part of the tech team at a full-service global transportation and logistics company. Our mission is to fortify our customers’ success by making their logistics programs efficient and dependable and by ensuring their transported goods arrive on time and damage free. The primary objective will be to contribute to the development of integrations with our customers, suppliers, and in-house platforms to achieve highly efficient and reliable processes that deliver on our mission.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Participate in requirements analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Design and develop robust integrations
• Write clean, maintainable code in a .NET/SQL Server environment
• Unit test and collaborate with QA
• Deploy applications and systems
• Troubleshoot, revise, update, refactor and debug code
• Collaborate with technical writer and IT support/operations to document applications
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Other duties as assigned
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• C# and VB.NET
• .Net Framework (.Net Core highly desirable)
• Visual Studio
• SOAP/XML and REST/JSON API development and consumption
• Console application development
• Web application development, including HTML/CSS
• SQL Server/SSMS/T-SQL
• Git/Bitbucket
• Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Highly desirable:
• AWS development experience, especially serverless API development using API Gateway, Lambda, and other AWS services

EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or minimum of four years’ experience

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience
• Proficiency/familiarity/worked with Agile development platforms such as Jira and/or Azure DevOps
• Proficiency/familiarity/worked with API testing tools such as Postman and SOAP UI
