Experience in optimizing deployment pipelines
Experience collaborating with onshore/offshore vendor resources in order to ensure that objectives and SLAs are met
Demonstrated track record of successful collaboration with departmental leadership in defining, enforcing and sustaining enterprise technology standards
Ability to gain understanding and business knowledge and sort out what is relevant to the team’s current and future objectives
Successful track record in the design, development, and support of large software solutions
Experience supporting high-transaction / high-availability systems
Ability to work with multiple personalities and remain congenial at all times
Willingness to do what is necessary to learn and grow in your role.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership, clarity and direction for on-site, offshore, and vendor teams
Rapidly troubleshoot and debug issues as well as recommend fixes
Provide operational support and oversight for application Performance Monitoring toolset
Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in order to evaluate existing environments, establish technology standards, and identify opportunities to add value to the organization
Work closely with project management to estimate and forecast resource needs, labor spend and project duration
Decompose business requirements into logical technical units of work
Work with project and product owners to develop and produce detailed technical requirements documentation
Seek guidance from management in order to gain a clear understanding of mission, vision, and strategy of the company and relevant applications
Perform code reviews to ensure development quality, best practices, and corporate policies are followed
Actively participate in design and architecture discussions
Recognize technical debt very early in the process with a knack for prevention of that debt
Communicate regularly with product owners, business users, IT managers, team members, and other IT teams
Gain understanding of the supported business domain in order to provide context on current and future work
