JOB DESCRIPTION:

The individual is responsible for leading the delivery ofinternal and outsourced projects from project initiation to transition tooperations so as to deliver projects on time and within budget and to meet thedesired business objectives. This position requires the analysis of broad andcomplex issues and the formulation and execution of strategies.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recognized role model; mentors others across teams
  • Leads activities that improve complex business and IT processes to enhance company performance
  • Leads project planning, scheduling, controlling and reporting activities for complex projects
  • Understands interdependencies and constraints across teams; guides cross team collaboration / prioritization
  • Effectively communicates plans, status of activities and priorities at all levels and aligns across teams
  • Drives results of teams in area, managing performance, quality and risk
  • Understands industry trends and application to Enterprise
  • Advises on options, risks, and impact of changes in the business relative to assigned projects

Technical Skills

  • Advanced expertise in project and program management methods, techniques and tools
  • Defines, delivers and manages plans for implementing new or changed technologies
  • Facilitates development of solution alternatives
  • Investigates project / product related issues impacting project progress and deliverables
  • Defines and manages data objects, data structures, programs and activities for data migration
  • Adopts and adapts project management methods and tools
  • Oversees successful completion and implementation of assigned initiatives and projects
  • Ensures that effective project control, change management, risk management and testing processes are maintained
  • Monitors and controls resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholders

Education and Experience

  • 10 years           
  • Master’s degree preferred or multiple certifications
