We are looking for a Java Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. This individual will be responsible for building and running all the necessary Java-based microservices and web applications required for the AITA application. Preference will be given to full-stack engineers who can work across the stack and not silo themselves to a backend or frontend
Major Duties/Responsibilities
1. Develop Java & Spring Boot based web applications and microservices.
2. Follow test-driven-development.
3. Write unit tests and integration tests.
4. Write CI/CD pipelines.
5. Perform deployments and troubleshoot incidents.
6. Follow best practices and document code.
7. Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and adapt to changing requirements.
8. Ensure that project deliverable meet business requirements and ensure to complete the project within assigned timelines.
Preferred Related Industry Experience (if applicable): Supply Chain, Digital & Analytics
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Uncompromised requirements for the role): (Include any required computer skills, certifications, licenses, languages, etc.)
1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in EE/CS or related field from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 10 years of industry experience in an established company.
3. Experience with data modelling, design patterns, building highly scalable and secure applications.
4. Experience with MySQL or SQL Server,
5. Experience with cloud containers like Docker.
6. Experience with Unix.
7. Experience with Java, Maven and Spring boot.
8. Experience with Git, Jenkins etc.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: (Include any preferred computer skills, certifications, licenses, languages, etc. or abilities that are assets to performing in the role.
