Our client has been using outdated technology and needed to update to new tech. Moved from AWS to Googles Cloud platform. Moved from a monolithic Scala app to a Scala system broken into 26 micro-services. This year is to do the same thing on the front end. Currently using Angular 1 and they want to move to newer framework (React or newer Angular).

Client's platform runs on other people’s websites – fast and efficient on these websites is the goal.
Platform runs 90% on websites and 10% on mobile apps.

Must haves:
* 7+ years of Front-End experience
* Experience doing an upgrade of Angular.js to React.js OR Angular 2+ 
* Ideally looking for someone who has worked on projects that are highly scalable

** Needs someone to help make the decision on what framework to move to and implement it. Some work will involve coming up to speed on the current environment, learning what’s there and then working with the team to figure out what they need to move to.

Tech Stack: Angular 1.0, Scala for back-end

Team: 3-5 developers, 1-2 QA and 1 product manager. This would be 4th engineer on this team.
