JOB DETAIL

Job Description: 

Client is embarking on a project to restructure their Ledger and Operating Units within EBS, version 12.2.7.  The project will entail moving current companies / legal entities out of the current ledger and setting up a new ledger and multiple operating units to support the future operating model.  Applications are GL, AP, AR, iExpense, FA, iProcurement, Purchasing, Inventory, Payroll, HR and Advanced Benefits.  Integrations, extensions and custom reports will need to be reviewed to determine if/what changes are required.  The new operating units should function as the current, so there will be minimal configuration changes that will be required.  Consideration to historical and in-process transactions will need to be addressed.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

Client is looking for a strong, technical lead with experience across Financials, Purchasing, Inventory and HCM (Payroll, HR and Benefits) who can lead this effort in reviewing, designing, documenting, developing and managing offsore development resources across these modules related to integrations, extensions, custom reports and any other technical components.  This role will lead and direct 2 offshore resources focused on HCM and Financials.  The deeper knowledge will need to be in the Financial, Procurement, Inventory areas.  This resource should possess the following skills:

Excellent communication – verbal, written, listening, retaining.  Ability to discuss technical requirements / limitations in laymen terms for non-technical people to understand.
Troubleshooting – ability to quickly identify root cause of issues based on their broad experience and deep knowledge of the technical architecture and inherent integration provided by EBS
Organization – ability to maintain organization while working across multiple tasks.  Able to quickly adjust priorities and be able to identify when priorities should shift.
Estimating – ability to properly estimate development time and manage resources to hit the targeted dates.
Technical Accumen – broad and deep understanding of the technical architecture, table structures, schema and other related elements.  Understanding of the Oracle Security model and data security.
3rd Party Vendors – knowledge of integrating with Lucernex, NBO, Timberline, banks, Kenexa, benefit providers and other 3rd party systems and partners. 
AME, WebADI – experience in developing solutions working with AME and WebADI.
Deep knowledge of development languages and tools required to develop integrations, extensions, personalization and custom reports.
Conversion – ability to bring viable solutions on how to handle historical transactions and transaction in process over to
