My client just bought 2 companies. The parent company is on Oracle EBS. One baby company is on SAP, the other is on a homegrown legacy system. They want everyone on Oracle EBS in the next 9 months. In this hands-on role, you will be the go-to resource to assist our clients with implementing, configuring, and customizing Oracle EBS Financials and address functionality questions and pain points, in the Finance areas of in GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and EBTax. You will recommend best practices in leveraging system technology to meet day-to-day business needs. You will lead cross-functional teams to implement realistic solutions that align with business expectations. You will interface with senior management to define a technology roadmap that aligns with key business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:

·         Document system overlay onto business process flows, highlighting issues and gaps

·         Become a trusted partner with Finance business users

·         Identify functionality to optimize Accounting processes

·         Generate and identify reports for senior management

·         Implement roadmap functionality

·         Able to scope, plan, and manage functional and technical implementations

o    Able to recommend best practices (with technical solutions)

·         Able to successfully perform business process mapping

·         Able to draft/publish SOPs and work instructions

·         Able to manage third party consultants and contractors

·         Able to publish training documentation and train end users

·         Flexible, able to work in dynamic environment with shifting schedule requirements

 

 Qualifications:

·         We´re looking for a senior consultant with hands on experience in Oracle EBS and Cloud Financials.

·         10+ years of experience with Oracle ERP;

·         Prior experience with new implementations and/or upgrades to Oracle EBS and Cloud Financials

·         Strong experience in GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and EBTax

·         US localization and a plus would be UK and other European country localization

·         A good understanding of Finance and Accounting connections to Supply Chain and Order to Cash processes

·         Education: B.S. or M.S. required

·         Demonstrated experience as a cross-functional team/project leader
