SAP Analyst (Manufacturing)

Client, United Therapeutics, in Durham, NC.

This is a 4-6 month contract to hire (client will not sponsor visas).

Rates- $50-55/hr C2C. they are in the middle of an S/4 HANA implementation that they would like this candidate to assist with and then convert to full-time and continue doing the daily maintenance/monitoring.

How you’ll contribute

The SAP Manufacturing Analyst will provide key technical and subject matter expertise in support of the Manufacturing, Inventory, Extended Warehouse and Distribution modules of the SAP S/4 system in a regulated, validated environment.

Support business enhancement initiatives and projects including:

• Configuring the system in accordance with the business requirements.
• Championing the use of commonly used concepts, SAP standard functionality, and best practices and procedures within specific SAP modules.
• Participating in user and functional requirements gathering sessions in collaboration with functional business units and external consultants.
• Working with identified subject matter experts (SME’s) to develop solid understanding of business processes.
• Updating or creating system documentation including Business Process Procedures, Functional Specifications, and User Requirements.
• Executing Test Script protocols in support of the Change Control and Validation requirements.
• Troubleshoot and assist with Production system break / fix requests associated with the MM, PP, QM, SD, and EWM modules.
• Providing training for end users.

For this role you will need

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science or engineering, or equivalent preferred, will consider commensurate experience and/or combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on SAP technical experience
• Extensive knowledge in SAP PP, QM, WM, and MM modules with two or more full project life cycle SAP implementations
• 2+ years’ experience with SAP S/4 HANA
• Master Data experience
• SAP Techno-functional expertise; ability to debug ABAP code
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications, with special emphasis on Excel & Word,

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on small, fast paced project teams and be able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
• Certification in S/4 HANA or SAP ECC
• Experience in EWM, MM, QM, PP modules
• Experience with BOMs, LSMW, BDC and Batch jobs
• Working knowledge of SAP front ends Fiori and Neptune, SAP Interfaces, ALE, IDOCs, SAP script, ADOBE forms
• Preferred experience in the FDA regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Preferred superior database maintenance / development experienc.
• Familiarity with a variety of Quality management system (LabWare LIMS, Trackwise etc.)
• Familiarity with Automated Warehouse systems, Electronic Batch record systems 
• Experience using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint and Smartsheets.
• Experience with Visio and MS Project
