• Senior level app developer; focus on back-end – Java based with heavy leveraging of messaging oriented technologies (IBM MQ or Kakfa)
• Spring boot experience required.
• Understanding of relational databases.
• Knowledge of concepts related to big data would be helpful.
• Public cloud knowledge (Microsoft & Google, more relevant that Amazon)
• Must have strong communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, BAs, developers, etc.).
• Must be consistently learning new technologies and bringing ideas to the team. High energy/game changer type person. Not just a task oriented person. Must be proactive and self-motivated.
• Should be local to the area. Must be onsite a few days per week once restrictions are lifted.

Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.
