JOB DETAIL

Title: Project Manager with Merger & Acquisition (M&A)

Location: Lake County, IL

Duration: 6 Months+

 

Description:

As part of the Merger & Acquisition (M&A) Integration PMO, work with Commercial project managers in the execution, management, and reporting of M&A projects. Oversee the collection of regular project status reports including but not limited to project health, milestones, dependencies, key issues, and key risks. Assist M&A Integration PMO in the management of PMO templates, tools, processes, and other operational tasks. Review project plans for quality assurance.

This individual will report to the M&A Integration PMO Director.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Workstream Project Manager Onboarding: Onboard workstream project managers on M&A project management requirements and expectations. Review M&A PMO processes, templates and tools.

• Review Workstream Project Health: Conduct regular review of workstream project plans to assess health, issues, risks and timeliness of tasks. Escalate to M&A PMO and workstream leads as required.

• Review Documentation of Integration Dependencies: Assist Integration PMO Enterprise Liaison in reviewing Enterprise and external dependencies and tasks documented by workstream project managers. Work with workstream PMs to update dependencies as required.

• Project Financial Review: Work with PMO Integration Finance Lead on managing project financials, approvals and review.

• Integration PMO Meeting Management: Manage meeting agenda, publish meeting minutes and action items.

• Integration PMO setup: Assist M&A Integration PMO team in the development of process, tools and templates.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Business, Information Systems/Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Demonstrated experience in managing projects.

• Proven Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills are required.

• At least 3 year’s experience in project management, business systems analysis, or software development, with a minimum of 1 year experience managing projects

• Individual must be able to work full time on-site

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP Certification

• PPM Tool experience (e.g., Clarity)

• Pharmaceutical experience
