Must Haves:
- Linux
- Dynatrace
- Manhattan or Manhattan WMS
- Basic application support
- Very strong troubleshooting skills
Day to day responsibilities:
- Day to day installing and troubleshooting
- Familiar enough that they can digest instructions and get up to speed quickly
- Someone who can jump in ang get with other team member who does installations and basic support - in order to free up senior engineer on team for other work
- "Here's the terminal - here's the instructions" etc
- Don't have to be an expert - not entirely junior but not too senior
- 90% linux - 10% windows
- Have documentation and SOPS around the installations and they are getting into busy season on that
- Run scripts etc - more scripting background the more they will understand what to troubleshoot environment variables
- Support aspect - getting domain knowledge - day 1 in “intake this, check xyz, if it doesn't match - kick to senior and ask for help”
- Someone who is confident in ability to dive into unique situation
- Operating more independently - they better they will be at this job
- Day 1 is putting with counterpart and getting acclimated to system - walking through installing packages and working with Manhattan WMOS
- Some level of distribution/logistics/manufacturing exp to understand pace and timelines
- Someone with manhattan would be best case scenario
- Windows MCSE would be amazing as well
- Currently using Redhat enterprise 6&7
- Applications are built on Jboss or Tomcat stack
- Familiarity with SQL especially Oracle SQL and running queries is a big plus
- Python - some bash scripting
- Ansible automation familiarity
- Use dynatrace for app performance monitoring for troubleshooting performance issues
