Job Description

Client has an immediate opening for a SAP Security Consultant.  This position requires significant experience in architecting, designing, developing and supporting SAP security solutions.  The preferred candidate will have experience in the SAP Identity Management (IDM) 8.0 with skills in SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) 12.0 Access Control (AC) and Process Control (PC) domains and SAP security models.  In addition, the candidate should have multiple implementations (i.e. S4/Hana) and operational support experience.  This position will be a part of the Synergy team at our campus in Atlanta, GA.

 

Responsibilities:

•           The candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing and supporting security solutions leveraging SAP security with tools such as GRC and SAP IDM across multiple SAP components such as S4/HANA, ECC, HCM, SRM, Ariba, Success Factors Employee Central, IPS, IAS and BI/BPC.

•           Translates business goals into appropriate security solutions in SAP while assessing feasibility and optimization of the solution.  Participates in the development of cost/benefit analysis.

•           Cultivates and demonstrates industry-specific business process knowledge and familiarity with relevant enterprise, business unit, and functional strategies, objectives, and plans.

•           Proactively identify process improvements including clear and concise solution definitions.

•           Provides guidance in the definition of solution design practices and standards that link back to SAP best practices.

•           Develops and maintains working relationships with a diverse group of business, functional and technical teams.

•           Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions to lay persons, demonstrate smart design techniques and mentor other team members.

•           Experience or knowledge of IAS and IPS as well. [RT1] [RT1]

•           Experience with ECC and S/4 and cloud systems [RT2] [RT2]

 

Qualifications:

•           12 plus years of experience in IT analyst or consulting position with knowledge and experience relating business requirements to sound security solutions.

•           Hands-on experience working with SAP IDM 8 or greater in systems analysis and design, and technical/functional solutions delivery (supporting configuration and custom development).

•           Detailed knowledge of all the major technical processes and associated functionality in the SAP IDM and GRC AC/PC domains; includes good security needs understanding of functional processes such as quote and order management, service contract service request and service ticket processing.

•           Strong understanding in SAP development methodologies including strong troubleshooting and issue resolutions skills.  Focus will be SAP ECC with a strong understanding of SRM and HCM as well as S4 and Cloud systems.

•           Proven ability to develop complex SAP solutions. Excellent facilitation skills, including experience planning and participating in SAP blueprint and design sessions. Have been through at least 4 complete implementation cycles.

•           Experience with interacting with third party resources, including offshore teams.

•           Proven leadership in managing, governing and providing oversight of internal teams, 3rd party integrators, consultants and vendors through various initiatives.

•           Strong team building skills, with ability to build quick and effective work rapport with distributed team members.

•           Must be self-motivated in learning new concepts and willing to share knowledge and skills with other team members.

•           Outspoken and passionate about delivering well designed solutions that exceed business objectives and drive business success.

•           Must have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions and ideas.

•           B.S. strongly preferred, M.S. preferred, in Computer Science.
