Title : Senior Java Developer

Location : Fully Remote

Client : AgileThought

Duration : 6+ months contract than hire

MOI : Skype

Visa : USC Only

Very Important to Have:

• Experience in Microservices architecture and workflows

• Knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, REST, SQL

• Experience in cloud technologies (Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Azure)

• Azure (Logic Apps, Durable Functions, Events, K8s, Docker)

• Worked with Docker and/or Kubernetes

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with various operating systems (Window, UNIX) and databases (Oracle, Mongo DB)

• Familiar with Jenkins, Artifactory, GitHub/GitFlow

• Knowledge of Python, scikit-learn or machine learning technologies is a plus

Duties – These may shift slight based on the roles mentioned above but are overall quite basic:

• Understand business and operational requirements

• Design the structure of a technology solution

• Communicate system requirements/design to software development teams

• Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure

• Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions

• Oversee assigned programs (e.d. conduct code review) and provide guidance to team members

• Assist with solving technical problems when they arise

• Monitor system to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals

• Hands-on development experience

• Proven experience as a technical lead

• Excellent communication skills

• Problem-solving aptitude

• Organizational and leadership skills
