JOB DESCRIPTION:

No 8 year candidates

 

One of your main tasks will be developing and integrating between WMS and SAP. You will be using JDA to integrate within the platform and translate the SAP side to one of the APIs. Once the logic is pulled from SAP, you will be pushing the information back into JDA. You will collaborate with the Business and EDI service provider to implement mapping changes and vendor profile setups. As the EDI Developer you will be gathering application integration and requirements to collaborate with functional IT teams and troubleshoot and remediate failed EDI transactions in a timely manner. You will act as the liaison between the business team and IT team to gather requirements and having those needs developed.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following)

• Coordinates with Third party EDI and new trading partners to set up new processes and provide optimal level of customer service
• Implement mapping changes and vendor profile setups in collaboration with Business and EDI Service Provider
• Document EDI specifications
• Work with business to develop use case test scenarios, UAT, and user testing
• Adhere to SDLC standards
• Develop EDI service performance metrics and report to management on periodic basis
• Ongoing 3^rd level support of implemented solutions
• Develop documented standards to include specific mapping rules/logic
• Support the internal change control activities including preparation/documentation/SOPs
• Provide support to internal business clients on data quality and integrity
• Gather application integration and EDI requirements in collaboration with functional IT teams
• Communicate openly with management; identify and escalate issues in a time effective manner
• Troubleshoot and remediate failed EDI transactions in a timely manner
• Assist with internal and external technical staff in data transfer processes
• Works directly with business partners to obtain requirements, perform detailed analysis, communicate requirements to internal functional team for development

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

·         Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience

·         Minimum of 9 years as an EDI Programmer

·         Expert knowledge of EDI standards (810, 812, 820, 852, 855, 856, 940, etc.)

·         Expert proficiency in XML, Flat file, and EDI files

·         Proficient in transport protocols such as AS2, FTP/SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS and VAN

·         General or working knowledge of integrating SAP

·         Expert knowledge of API’s

·         Expertise in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL, T-SQL, etc.)

Preferred:

·         Development within SAP’s Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)

·         PowerShell scripting
