JOB DETAIL

 Job Description: 

 

looking for a business consultant to support and enhance business use of the new ERP system (SAP) in order to fully leverage the benefits of the new system. The primary objectives of this role will be to monitor and resolve SAP AIF errors, to propose and coordinate system enhancements, and to develop/enhance system metrics/dashboards to measure the health and performance of the system. The person in this role will work collaboratively with a wide range of business end users, IT groups, and other members of the CoE Services team.

 

Key Responsibilities

(~50%) Monitor assigned SAP AIF errors and provide interface support for business.

  • Process and monitor SAP AIF Errors for assigned interfaces on a daily basis.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot errors to determine path for resolution
  • Coordinate error resolution with business and/or technical resources
  • Create and monitor service tickets as needed to resolve errors
  • Support and participate in SOX audits related to assigned interfaces
  • Provide CoE support for Physical Inventory at Toyota manufacturing companies
  • Perform Procure To Pay – Direct (PTP-D) Scrap Monitoring
  • Support error clearing and readiness for month end close
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of supporting documentation
  • Serve as backup support in other consultant error monitoring roles

 

(~30%) Drive error monitoring enhancements & controls to reduce AIF errors moving forward.

  • Coordinate improvement, simplification, and/or automation of CoE Services processes
  • Work with other members of CoE Service team to identify potential enhancements to identify process or control gaps in error monitoring
  • Design and propose enhancements for gaps within interface and SAP functionality
  • Coordinate implementation of enhancements by working with other CoE Services members, ITx, CORE-ERP project team, and/or business customers as appropriate
  • Assist with training to business users to close business process knowledge gaps that contribute to AIF errors

 

(~20%) Assist in the creation and maintenance of metrics/dashboards that track and communicate the overall health of the ERP system

  • Assist CoE Services management develop metrics to track errors, resolutions, and process improvements
  • For non-automated metrics/dashboards, manage updates on a regular basis

 

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related areas
  • Experience working with SAP, including understanding of Financial Accounting (FI), Cost Accounting (CO), and Production Planning (PP) modules
  • Experience with big data platforms and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience working on a cross-functional team with IT, Project, and Business groups
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussion between technical and business resources
  • Work experience in large scale, international business or organization
