The Senior DBA plays a key role by contributing their 24X7 enterprise-class database and applications operations expertise, coupled with their broad big data curiosity, proven service delivery and optimization for a transforming cloud and managed services environment. We are looking for someone who loves big data and the applications that wrap around them in all its forms from relational, to NoSQL. Develop and maintain the database technology stack (MySQL/MSSQL/PostgreSQL) ensuring data integrity, security, retention, and recoverability of the data. Design, build, test, and deploy quality database solutions that are consistent with project objectives, technology architecture standards and departmental best. Create and administer all database objects from design to deployment utilizing subject matter expertise to design or re-use, configure, and implement database solutions/processes that maximize system availability, efficiency, effectiveness, integrity, recoverability, and supportability. Serve as the primary support for SaaS client requests for frequent and timely data copy processes, with a strong understanding of incident management and root cause analysis, while delivering high levels of customer service that aligns to our Internal and Customer service levels. Perform script maintenance and batch job processing as a critical element of our data import management. Ensure existing and new processes are integrated with standard operating procedures that also meet business requirements and system goals.
