Five (5) years of enterprise experience to include: architecting data warehouse solutions and integration of source system information in a large warehousing environment; relational and star schema data modeling concepts; Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) concepts; five (5) years using Oracle PL/SQL and two (2) years using Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB).
Three (3) years of experience using reporting/analytic tools and environments; data structures; data rendering and creation of dashboards and compilation of the supporting data elements using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) or IBM Cognos Analytics.

Ability to query the company's data warehouse and/or department systems in response to data requests.
Responsibilities
Work with designated department to assess, define, and develop report deliverables to meet internal and customer requirements.
Design appropriate data repository and reporting tools that will be used to organize, analyze, and report data. Query data bases to extract information needed to develop reports.
Compile data and other information from multiple data sources.
Support the development of standard reports.
Interpret, analyze and provide recommendations regarding data accuracy and data collection needs and processes.
Work with business unit(s) to identify opportunities to enhance existing and to develop new data information processes and tools.
Continuously assess and improve data collection and reporting processes.
Coordinate or independently complete special projects.
Assist staff members with more complex and detailed projects including root cause analyses, trended reporting and analyses which support continuous quality improvement leading to actionable information.
Responsible for gathering and assessing business information needs and preparing system requirements.
Performs analyses, development and evaluation of data mining in a data warehouse environment which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation.
Uses data mining and data analysis tools.
Reviews and validates data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy.
Responsible for prototyping solutions, preparing test scripts, and conducting tests and for data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and data modeling for data warehouses.
Maintains knowledge of software tools, languages, scripts, and shells that effectively support the data warehouse environment in different operating system environments.
Possesses extensive knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and data warehouse front-end tools.
Must have an extensive knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts.
Provides data collection, data management, data analysis and reporting, and decision management tool design
and development.
Responsible for interfacing with IT to ensure utilization and effective use of IT sponsored tools.
Provide advanced programming and technical skills to support data management and reporting requirements.
Support the district’s enterprise data management and reporting requirements.
The candidate will provide end-to-end data warehouse and business intelligence technical analysis, design, development, quality assurance, implementation and performance utilizing their broad knowledge of technology options, design techniques and approaches across the data warehouse life-cycle phases.
