Description

This Oracle DBA provides support for the university's database systems, including monitoring performance, directing version upgrades, maintaining associated hardware infrastructure, supporting the change control system, and providing support to application developers. This resource is generally a Team Leader, but regardless of position, the individual in this position mentors other DBAs at junior levels; and works with other analysts/developers of the same level.

This DBA will be responsible for supporting Banner system, including the application tier, so any experience there will be a HUGE PLUS. The primary responsibility/support will be on banner system and will be backup support on other systems as needed.

• Oracle RDBMS (Relational Database Management System)
• Working knowledge of Oracle database structure
• Weblogic
• Tomcat
