- § Operate at strategic, conceptual and execution phases
- § Interaction with the Data & Engineering and IT Delivery teams to assist in the technology enablement of core capabilities & value streams
- § Act as bridge between various enterprise teams and collaborate across teams and architects
- § Map organization capabilities to target operating model, roles and organization structure and provides direction for enablement
- § Provide architectural oversight of projects; ensure requirements are in alignment with business strategies.
- § Partners with IT architecture and Data Engineering teams’ team to establish IT framework and roadmap.
- § Analyze process, and provide guidance to streamline and optimize IT enablement, operational, communication and training process
- § Establish maps of business capability to systems, services, users-roles, IT product model mapping
- § Develop and analyze various viewpoints, mappings to show relationships between system artifacts and capability/attributes
- § Develop and define business capability framework & map, and other artifacts interacting with the IT teams across the organization
- § Work with BRMs to align requirements, applications to capabilities
- § Conduct capability assessment, draw business process maps
- § Document maturity needs/levels at capability levels
- § Define Journey maps and end-to-end business flow & process
Education & Experience:
- § Broad technical background
- § Senior Business & technology consultants with prior experience as a Business architect or senior Business analyst or product manager
- § 4 years bachelor’s degree
- § Performed as a senior business architect within the Business or Technology function, preferably greater than 10 years
- § Should have participated in the definition of business strategy and ability to translate into technical terms
- § Should have performed capability definition & assessment, and align to system artifacts
- § Should have worked across the enterprise interacting with business partners and Engineering teams to enable technology landscape
- § Streamlined and process optimized IT and business processes
- § Should have provided organizational construct with due analysis of org. capability, roles and org. functions
- § Experience in launching and running innovation pods across functions

- § Great communication skills and team player
- § Self-starter and ability to work in a matrix organization
- § Ability to deal with ambiguity and work towards bringing clarity
- § Persuasion skills to align teams around a common construct – business capabilities and attributes
- § Understand organizational construct, roles, people – motivations and ability to propose functional org models to enable innovation
- § Fast learner & adaptable and demonstrates critical and analytical thinking skills
- § Basic understanding of strengths weaknesses, opportunities and threats facing the business and teams operating model
- § Deep understanding of the business and its motivations, its products & services and general business landscape
- § Ability to lead, and demonstrates curiosity
