Job Description:
Responsibilities of a Test Coordinator include involvement in the planning, monitoring, and control of the testing activities and tasks.
Create testing strategy with exit criteria, approach and plans for Performance, Regression, Data Migration, System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and obtain appropriate approvals.
- Ensure proper configuration management of the Jira (traceability of the tests to the test basis).
- Create/update Jira Xray upload templates to manually upload:
- Business Requirements
- Test Scenarios
- Test Scripts
- Provide Jira Xray end user training.
- Coordinate with Huron on test cases, scenarios ensuing they are in the proper format to load into Jira.
- Confirm testing timelines and resource plans to ensure availability of necessary resources.
- Ensure test environments are in place/ready before test execution and managed during test execution.
- In partnership with Huron, lead Performance, Regression, Data Migration System Integration Testing (SIT) of Oracle applications with external legacy & partner applications as appropriate.
- In partnership with Huron, create detailed testing schedule(s) for test execution and then monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions.
- Ensure all testers have proper access.
- Coordinate and ensure all test scenarios and scripts in scope for all testing cycles are identified and have appropriate approvals.
- Coordinate with project PMs on all testing activities.
- Manage defects [Reporting, Tracking, Re-testing, Closure] for all in scope test types.
- Provide daily summary reports/statistics on test status to project leadership and PM’s during test execution.
- In partnership with Huron, coordinate/support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including:
- In partnership with Huron, create detailed testing schedule(s) for test execution and then monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions.
- Prepare user testing materials
- Ensure all users have proper testing access.
- Coordinate and ensure all test scenarios and scripts in scope for all testing cycles are identified and have appropriate approvals.
- Coordinate with project PMs on all testing activities.
- Manage defects [Reporting, Tracking, Re-testing, Closure] for all in scope test types.
- Provide daily summary reports
