JOB DETAIL

The Senior WMS Consultant (Warehouse Management Systems) will demonstrate a high level of proficiency in supply chain execution systems, specifically Warehouse Management, and will demonstrate an ability to manage all phases of client engagements. The Senior Consultant will possess full understanding of WMS solutions, with the ability to transform customer business requirements into the best practice configuration of the solution. This individual will develop a track record of high customer satisfaction, quality delivery and the ability to work in a team environment. The Consultant will act as the primary implementation resource and/or technical services liaison and will be responsible for the delivery of a stream of work.

Duties:

Demonstrate expertise in warehousing systems leading practices

Work well in a team environment

Serve as project lead in all phases of a project including design, construction, testing and go-live.

Serve as primary client contact for projects

Organize and lead project meetings

Provide accurate and thorough project estimates to customers.

Maintain positive relationships with Client management

Responsible for on-time client deliverables

Will sometimes be required to be involved in multiple projects or work streams.

Lead analysis and design of warehouse processes

Implement training and change management support programs

Define and document action plans to optimize warehouse operations

Define system, integration, and performance test plans

Lead and support all facets (data creation to execution) of system and integration testing

Define data and system conversion processes to enable production use of the solution

Troubleshoot technical application issues and coordinate with internal product support

Design functional specifications for enhancements to the supply chain solution

Proactively submit ideas for continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

5+ years of Experience in Supply Chain Technology or Consulting

Bachelor’s Degree (Science or Engineering degree preferred)

Experience with Warehouse Management Software implementation

Strong consideration will be given to those with experience with Oracle WMS Cloud (formally LogFire)

Strong understanding of Supply Chain concepts and best practices

Ability to work collaboratively with peers and superiors to manage development and implementation work streams

Ability to quickly learn business concepts and apply concepts to software configuration

Appropriate technical aptitude in SQL and application software fundamentals in a non-development capacity

Strong leadership skills

Strong communication skills (written and oral), including fluency in English

Strong presentation skills, able to lead large groups.

Fluency in Spanish, while not essential, is a positive

Must be flexible, adaptable and able to cope with time pressure

50% Travel Required, Atlanta-based position remote options are available.
