Responsibilities:

Senior Sybase with a minimum of 7 or more years of excellent hands on experience.

Key Responsibilities and Technology Experience: Minimum 7 years’ Experience as a production Sybase DBA Familiarity with Sybase direct connect for Oracle Familiarity with Shell Scripting

Experience with Sybase 15 /16 including replication

Knowledge of MS SQL and/or Oracle RDBMS is a plus

Experience with Linux, Solaris, and/or UNIX

Must be highly organized with ability to work well under pressure; sensitive to risk and controls

Reviews and enhances existing Sybase /SQL code to improve performance and ensure application meets industry standard specifications.

Plan and design database changes necessary for data conversion, tool configuration, data refresh or migration or other initiatives related to large application development project.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
