JOB DESCRIPTION:-

Senior Sybase DBA with a minimum of 7 or more years of excellent hands on experience. Key Responsibilities and Technology

Experience: Minimum 7 years experience as a production Sybase DBA Familiarity with Sybase direct connect for Oracle Familiarity with Shell Scripting

¿ Experience with Sybase 15 /16 including replication

¿ Knowledge of MS SQL and/or Oracle RDBMS is a plus

¿ Experience with Linux, Solaris, and/or UNIX

¿ Must be highly organized with ability to work well under pressure; sensitive to risk and controls

¿ Reviews and enhances existing Sybase /SQL code to improve performance and ensure application meets industry standard specifications.

¿ Plan and design database changes necessary for data conversion, tool configuration, data refresh or migration or other initiatives related to large application development project.

Education: Bachelor¿s Degree in Computer Science or related fields
