This is an opportunity for a talented and motivated Android Developer, to work in an experienced IT delivery team and lead the creation, delivery and maintenance of mobile solutions. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including active leadership in the design, coding/unit-testing and implementation. Successful candidates will efficiently promote and leverage suitable & modern technologies, design patterns and best practices to build quality, high-performing and scalable systems. Qualifications: Required: • Team oriented. • Willing and eager to learn (example from the team: when they made all iOS devs work on Android). • Intermediate Kotlin knowledge o E.g. where and why generics are useful o E.g. data classes, sealed classes, companion objects o E.g. function references and lambda functions • Strong knowledge of Android view binding • Knowledge of 3rd-party library OkHttp is preferred, but not required • Knowledge of 3rd-party library Moshi is preferred, but not required o An extra point if they can write a custom JsonAdapter • Understanding of how gradle builds the different app modules into a singular app • Experience with ProGuard/R8 is preferred, but not required
