Status:
- Client runs a small team that is responsible for building custom applications for various business units
- The team is composed of 1 scrum master and 3 developers
- Most of the technologies are java based in nature
- The team adheres to Agile methodology
- They typically assign out individual tasks based on projects, so they need the person to be comfortable with FLC development and ability to work stand alond
- Due to requests from the business unit they are at capacity and need an extra set of hands to finish projects in the cue
Tasks:
- FLC development and focus on testing
- Development mostly on the front end ( react typescript is the typical tool of choice)
- Provide best practices when needed
- Work with business users to help build technical specs
Need:
- 5-6 years of Java development
- Main focus on frontend development (react typescript)
- Experience with testing tools such as Mocha and Chive
- Experience with JSON and Jester
- Exposure to MongoDB or any other NoSQL DBs is a nice to have
- Exposure to Kubernetes is a nice to have
Questions to ask ref and/ or candidate:
- Where have you specifically been the person solely responsible for FLC development
- Walk through their debugging process
- DO they have code available on Github that the client can review
