RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate high-level business requirements into technical requirements in order to design and build Technical Specification (design) Documents for complex technology platforms and applications across the organization.
- Present analysis & design considerations to software architects and developers who transform business requirements into usable code.
- Build specifications, sequence or process diagrams, provide data mappings and logic for software developers and quality assurance analysts to follow.
- Write logic and execute SQL queries against data sources for various projects.
- Liaise with project teams (to include business product owner, enterprise architecture, business analysts, designers, testing teams) to understand the possible technologies or architectures (REST) available and feasible to address the solution requirements.
- Create functional user stories in tracking systems, technical system documentation and procedures to document solutions for project teams to build.
- Design system functional requirements based on deep understanding of how systems communicate with data sources including integration points, data element mappings & translation logic.
- Translate technical issues, verify and explain technical/architectural complexities to project stakeholders/consumers of applications.

- Pinpoint where changes need to be made and incorporate new data elements into the service application.
- Test data to sample the back end data sources to find and validate the data being retrieved. Perform other responsibilities as requested.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Intermediate level knowledge of database tools such as XML, SQL, SOAP UI, TOAD UI, DB Visualizer.
• Intermediate level knowledge of query databases using SQL to locate and verify data.
• Intermediate knowledge of analyzing and interpreting data from various data sources.
• Basic level ability to read design specifications to find fields necessary to meet the requirements.
• Basic level ability to research and identify problematic areas in coding; ability to read the code but not write the code.
• Ability to translate technical terms to non-technical (business) colleagues and non-technical (business) terms to technical colleagues to quickly identify business problems/opportunities.
• Ability to work independently as well as be adaptable and flexible while working in a dynamic team environment in order to lead projects.
• Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, departmental leadership, and business partners.
