Minimum Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related experience
• Experienced in Android application development in Java using Android Studio.
• Knowledgeable in networking in Android: UDP, sockets, web services
• Experience in voice recognition and text-to-speech
• Experience in integrating Bluetooth peripherals
• Experience in using Extents in Android

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building SDK and distribution embeddable libraries and software
• Experience with non-cloud, Wi-Fi based communications
• Experience developing private android app with two way communications

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
