Bartender (loft ware similar program) - using this application solely function of printing labels - used for only picking up a file and dropping it into the database
Some experience with bartender preferred but not required
Long term they're wanting to not have to rely on bartender and let their application run itself
Notes:
New company for cell phone providers, kitting in bulk for kits to go out to wal-mart and places like that. Have some deficits in that they don't have processes in place. Have to get investors to approve any big projects that they need. Hope to halve their process time. Need a solution! Currently using bartender as a label printing software, but it won't do everything they need. Looking for someone to workout an application that will allow them to better get data into the system. Have Define what they need to do to make it work better.
Bartender only picking up a file and telling the file what to do.
Need something to take the transaction off of Bartender. Wants to create a stand alone application that will separate transactional overhead from bartender business is good.

IT was originally set up by a third party group.
Need 3 phases
1) current operation input 1 month
2) Quality inventory, inspection processes 2 Months
3) integrating scales that are on the line to make sure that everything weighs what it should couple more months. would need experience with flat files and how to use that data.
4) eventualy input a visual system to visually monitor that system.
