Job Description: 

• 7+ Years of IT experience and 5-7 years of DBA experience. Minimum 7 years work experience in managing and administering large databases.
• Strong knowledge in SQL Server database design and administration activities
• Expertise in handling backups, restores and recovery models
• 5 years of experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
• Experience and expertise in installation, setup, and configuration of SQL Server 2017 and up.
• Hands-on experience performing SQL Server patching and database upgrades.
• Hands-on experience configuring and tuning SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS processes.
• Solid knowledge of OLTP and data warehouse architecture, data modeling and design
• Monitor system's health and performance
• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security of all SQL server databases
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Microsoft SQL certifications a plus

Strong Experience with:

• Implementation and support of multiple MS SQL databases
• Expertise and strong knowledge in handling all backup and restore issues
• Experience in Practical experience with the installation, maintenance, and upgrades of SQL Server 2017 and up
• Experience with MS SQL with Always ON Availability Groups
• working experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server databases
• experience with SQL Management Studio, SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Integration Services
• Responsible for application-oriented database administration and technical support for the various environments.
