JOB DESCRIPTION

o At least 8-12 years experience of full-life cycle ORACLE DBA and Oracle EBS DBA experience.
o Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle EBS suite 12.2 software and related products
o Configuring Multinode EBS suite 12.2 setup with load balancer
o Cloning DEV and TEST from PROD
o Upgrading Oracle EBS suite RAC database to 19c from older version of EBS RAC database.
o Configure Disaster recovery setup with Oracle EBS suite database.
o Expertise in Oracle performance tuning Very Large Databases (VLDBs)
o Experience in handling complex, multi-terra-bytes production RAC environments.
o Linux OS and scripting experience.
o Experience in Capacity planning, storage management, db trending and estimations.
o Experience with RAC, ASM, Data guard, RMAN and GRID.
o Experience in large multi-terabyte instances including partition management.
o Quarterly Release PSU Patch application

Skills / Requirements

o Experience automating DBA task such as change management and database mentoring
o Deep experience in architecting, and managing large enterprise Oracle database environments
o Proficiency in Optimizing Databases/database servers, Backup/Recovery (point-in-time recovery), Security architecture, Oracle Standby, Database clusters, I/O sub-system tuning for best performance (data file layout, RAID configuration etc.), various trace flag settings and performance-tuning of database SQL code (procedures/packages etc.)
o Knowledge of storage subsystems (Dell/EMC), NT and/or Unix scripting are a plus
o Programming experience in a multi-tier environment.
o Managing Data growth with Archive and Purging
o Post Gre SQL DB experience is a plus
