JD Description:

DB2 /SQL Server Database Administrator to support Unix-based DB2 database applications. Database tuning, automation scripting, new server sizing and deployment, DB2 software package installation and management, and process and planning documentation are the primary responsibilities of this position.

Knowledge and/or Skills:
DB2 /SQL Server database performance tuning skills and a solid knowledge of distributed architectures.
Possess knowledge in designing database models and install product databases
Knowledge of TCP/IP and client/server networking and troubleshooting.
Experience administering DB2 Linux operating environments/SQL Server on Windows.
Experience with Azure and RHEL.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good Scripting and automation skills required.
